THE CRISIS
UKRAINE

SITUATION OVERVIEW

Russia’s attack on Ukraine on February 24th has created the fastest-growing refugee crisis in history. By 12 April, more than 4.3 million refugees had fled Ukraine, with women and children making up 90 per cent of the refugee population. Millions more have been internally displaced.

As hostilities escalate, the humanitarian needs of these desperate and traumatized children and their families grow by the hour.

OUR CALL TO ACTION

KEPYR urges you to join us in supporting the vital and heroic work of the UNICEF’s frontline workers in Ukraine as they labor under war zone conditions to bring aid to these vulnerable children and their families. In response to UNICEF’s emergency

$348 M appeal, we’ve set our most ambitious fundraising goal yet for a single fundraiser - $50,000.

Your generous contributions will enable UNICEF to provide:

  •  Emergency medicine, trauma care, and psychosocial support.

  • Safe drinking water, heat, and electricity where infrastructure damage has knocked these out

  • ‘Blue Dot’ child-friendly spaces positioned along key travel corridors in conjunction with local municipalities, to provide critical support to children and families on the move

  • Emergency cash support to families so necessities can be immediately acquired when and as needed
