IT’S THE WORST CHILD REFUGEE CRISIS
SINCE WWII. KIDS MEDIA IS STEPPING UP.

Since 2017 Kids Entertainment Professionals for Young Refugees is where our community comes together in support of Unicef's vital and heroic work with young refugees around the world. Unicef is on the ground in more places than any other humanitarian organization, providing food, clothing, shelter, medicine, education, and trauma counseling, and working with local governments to ensure the safety and dignity of over 40 million displaced children.

Last year’s award-winning artists from comics, animation & film are back with original one-of-a-kind pieces of art featuring Star Wars’ The Mandalorian & Grogu created especially for this event – that you can own!

THE CRISIS

UKRAINE

SITUATION OVERVIEW

Russia’s attack on Ukraine on February 24th has created the fastest-growing refugee crisis in history. By 12 April, more than 4.3 million refugees had fled Ukraine, with women and children making up 90 per cent of the refugee population. Millions more have been internally displaced.

As hostilities escalate, the humanitarian needs of these desperate and traumatized children and their families grow by the hour.

Displacement-driven child wasting is a serious concern in the Horn of Africa.

Over 20 million children in the region have been deeply affected by the worst drought seen in 40 years, which have devastated crops and livestock.

If we don't act now, the explosion of child deaths will be imminent and severe.

OUR CALL TO ACTION

KEPYR urges you to join us in supporting the vital and heroic work of the UNICEF’s frontline workers in Ukraine as they labor under war zone conditions to bring aid to these vulnerable children and their families. In response to UNICEF’s emergency

$348 M appeal, we’ve set our most ambitious fundraising goal yet for a single fundraiser - $50,000.

Your generous contributions will enable UNICEF to provide:

Emergency medicine, trauma care, and psychosocial support.
Safe drinking water, heat, and electricity where infrastructure damage has knocked these out
‘Blue Dot’ child-friendly spaces positioned along key travel corridors in conjunction with local municipalities, to provide critical support to children and families on the move
Emergency cash support to families so necessities can be immediately acquired when and as needed
